20 Mule Team Wagon Train: 1885

Used in hauling borax from Death Valley to Mojave, 165 miles - 10 days. The borax weighed 24 tons. The entire weight totaled 36½ tons. . This historical marker was erected by Furnace Creek Resort. It is in Death Valley National Park in Inyo County California
